As you can see, not only was she in a great mood, she has also learned that she has a tongue. And she is constantly sticking it out and trying to figure out how exactly to make it work. I also have a suspicion that she is starting to think about her hands and arms. She has a cardinal on her little play gym that she has been smacking around this week. There are also two sets of plastic play keys on her swing that seem to jingle non-stop. Especially the left set...if she IS left-handed, I'm okay with that, but I am going to blame her Aunt Nori...not only because she is left-handed, but because she fed Scouten her first bottle...with her left hand.

Vaccinations...
Today was a trying day for my little family...well at least for myself and my husband. Scouten had to have her first vaccinations. I know that she will not remember it. I also know that three pricks of a needle are NOTHING compared to what those needle pricks are preventing. It still didn't make me cringe any less or feel any better. The worse part was that she was in such a good mood today. So good of mood that I actually considered calling in sick to work, just to see her smile all day long.

Scouten has such a cute smile. She is a prize that we all love. It can't be easy to say I'll be back and then leave her, but I can tell that she is taking it stride!! She is still a happy baby!
I know shots are rough...but you made it through the first round!
I'm so thankful I finally got to meet her and see her beautiful smile!! T was talking about her and telling Gigi and Grandpa about her.
It was wonderful to see all three of you!
