I know I'm
waaay behind on blogging, but I hope to catch up in the next couple days, before we go to Cancun. Yes, we are going to to Cancun for our sixth anniversary - at least that's the excuse. For some reason, I am a little
embarrassed by it, maybe it's because the economy is in the trash, or because it's the sixth...not the fifth or the tenth, or anything like that.
While on the train of thought of weddings, we recently went to a
Coash wedding. For all of you who have no idea what that means...it means a bunch of drunk Frenchman having a good time. When you go to a
Coash wedding, you KNOW you will have fun...Darin and Sarah's was
definitely not an exception.
They got married at the Great Overland Station in Topeka. I was a little nervous, because I always tell mom, "If you are in Topeka and are at a street sign with a low number and a dead president, GET OUT OF THERE!" When I lived there, I swear everything happened at 4
th and Polk. The Overland Station is at 4
th and Kansas...which is right between Jefferson and Madison...which should tell you a LOT.

However we had no worries...it was gorgeous...and the only time I questioned my security is the first time the train went by and the building shook...but by the time the third one went by, I hardly noticed it.

It's BEAUTIFULLY restored...and hard to believe that bums once camped out underneath chandeliers such as this one. The door that Sarah walked out said "Express and Baggage" over it. I really hope someone got a picture, because there is a good joke in there somewhere...

Although this one is blurry and the back of Darin's head, I love the smile on Sarah's face and how she is looking at him...while at the same time her sister (matron of honor) is looking at the pastor like "HELLO...can you hurry up and get this over with, there are three kegs waiting on us."

Here's the
Coash clan...at least the brothers and sisters. I've been told a couple times "You look like a
Coash." I really don't have a clue what that means, cause I'm not tall and bald...or losing my hair. If you figure out what a
Coash looks like...let me know.
And yes, I realize I COULD
photoshop out the orange cone, but I'm feeling kind of lazy!
