Christmas at the Bakers

Nobody believes me when I tell them about Christmas at the Bakers. They just stare at me in disbelief when I tell them last year we got 32 presents. As in each of us got 32 presents. I know you think I'm a fat liar - but this year I HAVE PROOF! This pile is for ten people...yes 10. I think this is why your Christmas list has to be in by July 4th. Once again, if I'm lying, I'm dying.

Please note that the gifts go all the way around the recliner closest to the camera, AND that they are piled as high as Linda's recliner AND they go all the way around the tree! Now do you comprehend the madness?

It was so fun to watch our niece Abby open presents. I had to take this shot of her sweet little fingers opening up something from Grandma and Grandpa Baker.
She also liked the Sesame Street 'driving' toy that Sean and I gave her - also known as the loudest toy in Walmart. I don't know if her parents were really appreciative. Especially since after she opened it, she pretty much decided she was done opening presents.
She did take a break from the cookie monster blinker that says "YUMYUM COOKIE" to climb into the box her cabbage patch doll came in. But that was NOT the real hit of the day. The real excitement came when I opened up a kick-butt KU blanket. Not because it was a beautiful jayhawk, but because the present was wrapped in a cardboard tube. AND her Uncle Sean thought it was as much fun as she did!

I can't decide which one of them is funnier in these last three shots! Who knew a cardboard tube could be so much fun?
