That stubborness has worked for her over the past 21 years, she's graduated at the top of her class from high-school, and from Redlands Community College. The girl has it all, looks, brains, and a killer sense of humor. I sound like I'm auctioning her off, and if you are cute enough, smart enough, and sweet enough, maybe I am....just kidding Addie! Notice the birthday-princess-light-up crown on her head. My mom bought three for all the December birthday girls! There are some great shots of the three of us, including our backsides, unfortunately those pictures are on my mother's camera, and I am crossing my fingers that they don't show up in the paper. I guess time will tell.
Sean and I bought her the gift that EVERY twenty-one year old college student needs. . .a rolling cooler. Of course, that came with complimentary lime, cranberry juice, and red-label vodka. She was psyched, her mama, not so much. Mom and I also got our stuff together and I bought her sock-monkey pajamas, while mom bought her sock-monkey slippers. I know, it's enough to make you sick!

Addie is 21
Twenty-one years ago, I picked up the phone on Christmas Eve, not knowing that a life-changing event had just happened. It was my brother-in-law, calling to let my parents know that they were grandparents. My niece Addelaine had been born. She was suppose to be born the 9th of December, but the stubborn little thing wanted to wait! Doesn't she look like a doll in her mama's arms?
