We deep cleaned the house yesterday. Those who know me, know what a profound statement that is. We also re-arranged our living room without much discussion - mainly because most of our ideas didn't fit! But Sean had the idea for a reading nook - and today as I sit in it, I pretty much think he's a genius. We also had to install a new shade because two little girls with black noses had put holes through the shades. Once again, I have to credit Sean for having the sense of mind to buy an extra set of blinds.
We also found our other cordless phone. Yes, we've been surviving with one. Neither of us can really remember how long it's been missing - but we both agree it's been awhile. That's really what started the whole cleaning fiasco that changed into a re-arrange the furniture fiasco. One more AMAZING find was the delete key for my laptop. It's been bugging me that is missing, but I really didn't want to admit it, because my computer has already been through two surgeries in the past couple months, and I didn't know if the motherboard could take being taken apart again all for the installation of a new keyboard.
Most of my plants froze on Thursday - it was like mother nature was trying to remind me that it really was November 1st, and she really is the one in control. I was thankful that my herbs (the legal kind - you know - mint, basil and lavender) had been cut the weekend before and were safely drying in my kitchen.

fresh lavendar - not the kind you usually find in soap or lotion - is beautiful and smells great - this fresh lemony smell and I love it!
