I'd love to hear the argument you had for that one! ;)
Last Friday I was avenging our office's "Fun Coordinator's" (not kidding that's basically his title) comment to me by declaring a surprise Nerf war. The night before the attack Tristan was loading up a bag with all of his Nerf weapons and Eliana asked me why I needed all of those.
ME: "Because when JT had his little Nerf gun over at my cubicle today I was telling him about Tristan's big one and he said, 'But you don't have it now, do you, Grandma?!' so Mommy's team is going to Nerf attack him tomorrow."
Eliana: "Mommy, you shouldn't shoot at your friends just for calling you a name! That's not nice and that's not what friends do!"
Me: **humbled silence while still planning the strategy for the morning attack** ;)
