favorite time of the year!

Pictures like this signal to me dad's sweet corn is about ready, that the Park Villa carnival is days away (homemade ice-cream and the cake walk), and that there is a ton of work to do before I can enjoy any of it.
You see three-years ago, during a weak moment, I joined the Chamber of Commerce, which every year puts on a fireworks display on the 3rd of July. It's a great time, and I get to see (and talk) to people...some I haven't seen since the year before. This year, I'm driving the drink cart, so be sure to look for me!

These were taken at Hanover last weekend, and the whole celebration was so put together, that I want to steal all their ideas, and their fireworks crew!


I am having a love-hate relationship with the reflection of the cars. It's a cool effect, but I didn't necessarily want them in EVERY shot!
