I've had a few people ask me (the grandma's have asked several times) what we are going to do for Scouten's first birthday. It's an emotionally charged question for me. I'm just not ready for her to be one, after all, yesterday I was waiting for her arrival...or maybe it just seems like yesterday. Anyway, that emotion, coupled with the following video have prompted my brain to stay in the "denial stage."
What are we doing for Scouten's first birthday? I have no idea...that's MONTHS away...

OH...BIG girl, Scouten!!! Wow, I know that 1st year goes fast...I had a blast at Lani's but her 2nd one approaching this fall has me in denial...we can be there together! =)
Enjoy every moment...it goes by so fast. I went from 6 kids down to 1 left in the house & it's too quiet!
