Bumbo Faces

Even more elusive to capture then the "Real Blake Ross smile", is the "Scouten Smile". I think I have seen it at least 25 times, but I never seem to capture a picture of it. Probably cause I'm usually doing something goofy or talking silly in order to get her to smile!

Today, we got out the Bumbo seat that her Jilly bought her to see if she could sit up in it. The instructions say that she should be able to hold up her head. She's getting pretty good at holding up her head, but can't do it all the time. Considering she had two grown adults watching her, I assumed it was okay. And after all, I'm her mother! :)

Here's I captured while she was trying to figure out what in the heck her parents were up to.

Trying to get the hang of this...

Head up and relaxing
looking at her daddy and trying to figure out why he is talking like that...

Starting to move her hands around...and then...
Oh yes! I caught the elusive "Scouten Smile."

Aren't the smiles the best!

It's funny that sometimes I feel like Jackson is "behind" because I don't put him in the bumbo much, but the truth is, because he's still small, the darn thing just seems to swallow him!
