Funny Faces!

While I am feeding Scouten, if my mother is here, we read from the book "What to Expect - The First Year." It's been a lifesaver in many ways! It told my husband not to stick anything in her ear smaller then his elbow! He's always sticking a bobby-pin in his ear, and I'm afraid he'll be doing it to her if I don't watch him!

The book also told us that Scouten won't smile "socially" until she's at least 4 weeks old, and maybe not until she's 8 weeks old. I can be patient and wait for that first non-pooping smile...especially when she makes funny faces and doesn't even realize it. Here are a few examples, taken from my phone while I am trying not to crack up!
