Last Sunday, mom, dad, Sean and I made the trek to Winfield to Southwestern college to see the first of this year's graduations. My niece Courtney, got her degree in Psychology. I think sooner or later she will figure her family out, but it might take a little more schooling. When we got there, this was the scene that greeted us!

graduation...
It seems to work out in my family, that there are either three graduations or none. I know that's pretty weird considering I only have six nieces and nephews, someday I'll do the math and figure it out, but NOT on a dreary day like this!!

Unfortunately, it didn't stay that calm for long...it was 58 degrees and the wind was blowing straight out of the north, which equals FREEZING!! You can see it in Courtney's hair and gown as she walks right into the wind...
The grand march into the stadium. I was sooo proud when I saw those feet, she realized she had to walk across the muddy field and actually wore flats! So much better then the sky-high heels she wore at her high-school graduation! :)
I'm pretty sure this is the moment she realized she was a college grad and doesn't have a clue what she is doing...welcome to life Courtney, your aunt is 31 and still has no clue what she wants to do! Your grandma is slightly older then that and is trying all kinds of new stuff everyday, don't worry about it!!
Well it's all over...and here are two of the three graduates from this year...Caitlyn and Kasey are up next week...stay tuned!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! I cannot believe how big they've all gotten...and that I can still recognize them! WOW!! Gone are the days of Momo's lipstick ring around her binky and Courtney dreaming of you living happily ever after with a college basketball player in Iowa...oh my...we are getting older.
I guess that leaves our little ones to fill those shoes now doesn't it? =) Can't wait!! Tell Shaker Coco was glad to see his/her Mama when in Clifton and can't wait to meet him/her upon arrival.
