ANYWAY, today my mother shows up with some cookies and taffy made by the lady down the street, which lasted 17 seconds, and a little treat for Rhys. And once again, I cried. Only this time it was a, "I'm such a spoiled brat and I know it and my mom is the greatest" cry.

just in case you weren't positive...
Hi, I am a spoiled rotten brat. I've pretty much always known this fact, but this picture should prove it!
What in the sam hell is that you ask? I'm so glad you asked. It's a 1847 Rogers Bros (Vintage pattern) olive spoon. See those little scary prongs? Those are to pierce your olive, then you let the olive drain through the hole in the spoon. How do I know this? Because HELLO I can find more then just song lyrics and Jill's long-lost boyfriends on the internet, I can also find potterybarn.com, Ebay, AND silverpattern.com, that lists all the Roger Bros patterns.
How does this make me spoiled? Well, that's a LONG story...remember that auction I went to not so long ago? Well, I threw a MAJOR melt-down, hello I'm four-years-old and I'm going to kick my feet fit! Yes, I did all this in front of half of Clay Center, my husband, and my parents. Needless to say it was not my proudest moment - nor was it afterwards when I stomped to the car crying, because I was pissed off (sorry mom but pissed is so the right word). And yeah, I'm an angry crier.

What a GREAT story! And the spoon is really super cute...I've never seen an olive spoon before. Enjoy eating your olives this weekend!! (along with your martini's, of course)
I've never seen a spoon like that before...although...I hate olives! Good story...great mom!
