My sister turns a big number today, I'm not telling which one, because I know her kids occasionally read this, and even though she's an old lady, I'm pretty positive she can still beat me to a pulp.

Another memory is taking WSI class together. It was the first time I took it, and her second. Even though she's 20 years older then I am, she kicked my butt on the Cooper swim test and the written part - and I never thought she'd remember all that WSI information. I guess I should have considered that she'd been a WSI for 20 years. (duh -Rhy!)
Our memories haven't always been happy - Christmas time really stress me out and I can remember a few Christmas' ago when we had the biggest fight over chocolate pie. Yeah, that's right, chocolate pie. I realize now that we were both too tired, too stressed, and I am too spoiled (I've never denied being spoiled by the way).
I also dearly love her children. Which is saying alot, because let's face it, I DON'T get along with everyone. But, she has raised the most polite, loving, beautiful, achieving, talented, and amazing children an aunt could ever dream of. She made me change my mind about Okies!
I guess I just want people to realize that families (and sisters) are fun, but they are not always easy. Families are complicated groups, you may cheer for the same team, dearly love the same people and each other, have good memories together and not so good ones, but you aren't always going to get along, and sometimes you need to remember your older sister can still kick your butt.
