Thanksgiving 2007

Although Sean and I have spent at least 6 Thanksgiving's together - I never get used to the fact that we have to try to decide where to go. I wonder if I will ever get used to having two families and why that is so strange to me.

This year we went to Minneapolis (KS) to my aunts to celebrate. I ate so much, I felt like the older brother from Weird Science when she turns him into that fat slobbing creature that looks like he will burst at any moment.

My aunt always counts the plates - that's how she knows how many consumed the meal. I'm sure SOMEONE takes two plates - I just haven't figured out who...

My aunt Javine baked the ham in a paper sack - sounds crazy but tastes like she's a genius!

I know this is shaky, blury, and has a bad reflection - but it's also my fathers "after dinner" tradition at ANY family get together, and this year my husband joined him for "uh...I'm going to the van to get something, I'll be back in a little while"

After dinner we convinced Annicka that we believe in child labor - no really - she actually WANTED to do the dishes
