My parents celebrated 40 years last November. Frankly, I can't believe they have put up with each other that long, but it just goes to show you never can tell.
My sister is also celebrating a big milestone this year. She and her husband have been married 25 years this summer - her husband is such a gluton for punishment! They live such a long ways away, but I often think about them; their 3 amazing, talented, sweet, polite, gorgeous kids; and the life they have created together. I hope Sean and I reach these milestones...that is if he doesn't strangle me one day.
