signs

I'm a big believer of signs. I know you are probably doing an eye-roll after reading that sentence, but it doesn't make me any less superstitious. I see the "signs" all the time, I just mostly keep them to myself, because people think I've lost it when I say that. I probably have lost it, but oh well!

I believe if you see a friend you haven't seen forever at the Longford Cafe, it means you are in the right place. Yesterday I was looking up a cemetery for a friend who is going there tomorrow for services of another friend's mother. It was a cloudy, grey day, and of course, I was feeling a little blue. I came from the south of the cemetery, wrote down the intersecting roads, and then drove north (headed toward home). On the other side of the cedars that border the cemetery, this is what met me...

Even if you have no interest in signs or superstition, how can you not feel hopeful? It was just one of those sights that took my breath away...
